ok first we woke up in the morning on July 12th, 1998 at 8:00am...
never mind I'll skip that part...
ok well first my Aunt Sandy came over in the
"big 15 feeter van"(that's what zac says on one interview)
that we rented
(actually is was just a 7 seater van)
Aunt Sandy had to go and buy
binoculars and my other Aunt wasn't feeling good
so she ended up giving
her ticket to my sister Samantha.
Sabrina got mad cuz she wanted her mom
to go with us. She was worried about her mom staying
all by herself when
she was sick....so finally we're off at around 2:30pm!
Sabrina got mad at
walmart (we had to return some broken binoculars)
I forget why...she
started crying cuz she wanted to go home.
We kept telling her she would
have a really great time and that she would regret
it if she didn't
go...she was hungry so we stopped at
Jack in the Box and she stopped
crying. FINALLY WE WERE ON THE FREEWAY AGAIN
On our way to L.A. (which it
takes us about 3 hours to get up there)
Ok so we're driving and SUDDENLY
we see the sign that says HOLLYWOOD at around 6:00pm!!!
Yeah we're finally there!
As we try to find a parking lot somewhere we see all these
people with Hanson t-shirts on (including lots of boys!
and I think
that's pretty cool!)
While we're still looking Sabrina Samantha and I
keep waving to people on the street
saying HANSON RULEZ out our windows
ok we got there.....
when we get out I see this REALLY cute hanson
t-shirt..I yell "hey,
I really like your shirt!" itz was a spaghetti
strap shirt that was yellow and had
the Middle Of Nowhere cover pic on
it. We got a paper that said no signs or cameras allowed....
so we took
out the posters I made and we took about 6 pics.
(I think that paper was
stupid! When we got in there almost everyone had a
poster and cameras!
how rude!!!!) We put the stuff away in the van...
we went in. We were
there early so we had to wait awhile.
I saw so many cute shirts that
people made!
Ok well we went in and my Uncle and cousins had to go to
the bathroom. So while we waited
(I was really starting to get hyper) I
was standing by the stairs greeting people!
I said to everyone who came
by me, "hi welcome to the Hanson concert" or "enjoy your stay"
"Hanson rulez" and then we went to find our REALLY HIGH UP SEATS!
my Uncle, my sis, Sabrina and I went to go buy souvenirs....
i got a really cool
Hanson-T and one of those badge thingys.
Ok we sat back down! There was two opening acts and
I hated them cuz all I came there for was Hanson!
FINALLY Hanson came out and the crowd went wild!
Tay was wearing a silver
over shirt, (itz in the pic of the european music awards)...
he had on some silverish purplish pants
on and his big black boots.....Zac was
wearing a black shirt with a red strip on it
(I think I couldn't really
see cuz of his drums) and some really
wild looking orange pants that had
some cool designs on it.
Ike had on a green shirt with a black shirt on
underneath. He also had some silver pants on.
The first song was "give me some lovin'
" I love that song! I don't
really remember the rest of the line up,
but anyways on one song Ike
started jumping off of Zacs little stage
thingy and he was really wild!
He kept doing that on a lot of songs!
On one part of the concert Tay went
over to take over for Zac on the drums!
THAT WAS REALLY KEWL! Zac went
out into the crowd and squirted them with a big water gun!
Well when Tay went to go over and go back
to the keyboards he was running and jumping
all over the place and he tripped! (POOR TAY!)
But he didn't really fall
he kinda caught himself before he fell.
Then Tay took his over shirt
thingy off on the 3rd song.
I really liked when the had the setting
changed to where they were all sitting down.
When they went off to have
it changed back to the first one it was
cool cuz when Tay came back he
was drenched
(i think they might have had a little water fight back stage
or something.) His hair was all wet!
Ok well whenever Ike had his own
little part the crowd always went nuts!
I think there were mostly Ike
fans there! Poor Tay and Zac! Oh well,
Ike deserves the attention!
Well there's not really that much left to
tell except that Tay threw 3
bottles of his water (that he drank out of!!!!!!!)
in the crowd!!! He
also threw his towel!
(OH MAN! I REALLY WISH I COULD HAVE SAT CLOSER!)
When we were leaving my Uncle Dana and
cousins had to go to the bathroom
AGAIN! So I said to people as they were leaving
"by hope you enjoyed the
show!" "come again soon!" "Hanson rulez!" "bye!
good bye!" Most of them
said bye back, but some of them thought I was crazy!
On our way out of
the gates I thought I saw Hanson leaving to their tour bus!
At least I think it was them...
(I'm guessing by the loud shrieks from all of the
girls.) On our way to the car I said to Sabrina
"Man whoever had those
water bottles I'm gonna kill them!" and these girls
in front of us heard
and said "I have one of those bottles"
I'm like "oh well uhh..I don't
mean you, I meant the person who had the last bottle"
(cuz he drank out of that one!) They asked me what part
I was sitting in and I said
"section U, I couldn't even see them very well
what about you guys?"
"section L" and as we were going 2 different ways they said
"see ya next concert" and I said "yeah! front row seats!
BYE HANSON RULEZ!" and they
said bye. From then on every person I saw I said
"bye Hanson Rulez! See ya next concert! Front row seats!"
Some of them looked at me like I was
crazy! But oh well and then when we FINALLY FOUND OUR van
we had to wait about 10 minutes to leave!
So we sat in the back saying bye to Hanson fans!
While we had the tape with all of the Hanson radio interviews
playing...at first the people around us
were like hey is Hanson on the
radio?!?!? and I told them no it was on
tape and they're like ohhh, ok.
We sat there for awhile and then said good
bye to all the people around
us and we were on our way home.
Sabrina, Samantha and I talked for awhile
about how great the concert was....
talking about all of the highlights
like for intance when Tay almost fell,
or how about the time when Isaac
started to jump around on the stage,
or when we all thought they were
about to leave, but then they suddenly
came back and sang "Weird" for us.
Or my favorite was when Tay was jumping
up and down on the song "Where's the Love" and
when they dedicated the song "A Minute Without You" to the
whole back sections (like the section I was in).
We then got really sleepy and fell alseep...
when we woke up again we were back again in El
Cajon at 1:30am....
it was all over back to reality.
That was the best day of my life!
